Montecito Water District Seeks 20% Reduction
in Customer Water Use

  • We commend those customers whose water use has reduced or stayed the same year-over-year!
  • However, 75% of single family residences have increased usage.
  • While increased water use is anticipated in droughts, the current trend is not sustainable.
  • One simple change can have immediate impact: Adjust irrigation settings to reduce outdoor water use. Done community-wide this may achieve the 20% reduction goal!
