Latest News from Montecito Water District

Rain is in the Forecast:

Tonight, Tomorrow, and again
on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday!

  • Please, take advantage of every opportunity to let mother nature do the watering: Stop irrigation before, during, and after rain events.

  • If rainfall is as predicted, you may not need to water outdoors again this year!

From National Weather Service:

A storm system will move into the region tonight and Thursday. Rainfall amounts will be better than yesterday`s system and look to range from between 0.10 to 0.20 inch across the coast and valleys up to 0.20 to 0.40 inch in the mountains.
A cool and wet weather pattern is expected for early next week as an additional rain storm system should move over the region between Sunday night and Tuesday.
