SPEAKING OF WATERWISE GARDENING: STILL NO WATERING NEEDED
Landscaping can continue to coast with little to no irrigation. Established trees, shrubs, succulents and drought resilient plants are still benefitting from underground moisture thanks to the super rainy season. The only likely candidate for watering at this point is grass in full sun - and less so due to fog.
May Gray, June Gloom...April Gray-pril? The early arrival of a lingering marine layer provides the added benefit of keeping plants and their surrounds moist, again limiting the need for irrigation.
Still not convinced to resist those hoses? How about a little more rain! We've got a likely chance of precipitation rolling in next week. We hope that's all the convincing you need to hold off on watering!
Here's what the National Weather Service has to say "...there is high confidence in receiving measurable rainfall next week, but still low confidence in timing and amounts."
FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE
KEEP IRRIGATION TO A MINIMUM...
