What if You Suspect a Leak?

 

District customers are responsible for the repair and maintenance of the water system and plumbing facilities from the water meter to - and including - all plumbing fixtures on their property. If the leak is on the customer side of the meter, we encourage you to try to find it by using WaterSmart, the District web site, or other resources online. If you need assistance, you may need to call a plumber.

 

Montecito Water District is responsible for the repair and maintenance of its water treatment and distribution system up to and including the water meter(s) installed to serve District customers. If you see any indication of a system water leak such as a pipeline or water main break, please report it by calling  805.969.2271  All Day, Every Day: 24/7/365
